... Um.. yeah XD

I luff giraffes! I always have, don't really know why >.> They're very cute.

So! If I stick with the project I'm working on now, this little giraffe may be the beginnings of something bigger and better! ^^ I'm excited about it, but I'm also a little worried about being in over my head. Therefore, I want you guys, in all honesty, to tell me what you think about this. Don't be shy! Comment, critique, tell me it's horrible, whatever. I promise you won't hurt my feelings, and I need to know what you think! Please?

.. I have no clue what category to put this in o.o I used someone's stock for the giraffe and the texture, but everything else is all mine. I guess we'll just go with manip >_>

While the over-all concept and style is simplistic, there was definitely skill that went into this. The composition's good, and your choice of colors further solidifies the 'cut out of construction paper' feeling. I might have used a different texture--one that looked more crumply and less scratchy, but over-all, I'd be interested to see how you could get yourself 'in over your head' down this road. ^_^

Oh, and the dA helper sitting by my side says that 'mixed media' might be your category. *shrug*

Understood. People in there can be pretty brutal. On the other hand, because I've ventured in there, I'm in contact with people who helped to build the site, and gallery directors and stuff like that... It's really cool to get to know the community, if you can avoid the drama-whores. ^_^;;
